ParticipantHi,
We’re running a number of your plugins and are looking at adding Event Aggregator as well. A couple questions to see if it fits our needs:
1. What fields can be imported from Facebook events? For example, an event submitted via the WordPress admin or Community Events plugin can include the following: Event Name, Event Description, Event Start Date, Event Start Time, a Featured Image, Event Website URL, the Venue (Name, Address, City, State, Zip, Country, and Venue Website), and an Organizer (Name, phone, email address, website).
2. Can we exclude any fields from the import? For example, we have specific options we’re using for the standard Event Category and don’t want new options created whenever an event is imported.
Thank you,

MemberHi Karly,
Thanks for getting in touch to ask about Event Aggregator 🙂

I’m mostly sure you can import all those fields if they are filled out in the Facebook event.

You cannot exclude fields from the import. It might be possible with a snippet. You can define a category to be added to the events imported from each scheduled imports. Maybe the snippet + the default category do the trick here.
Please let me know about it,
Best,

ParticipantHi Nico,
Thanks for the info. Excluding the Event Category from the Facebook events is a must-have for us. Would the team be willing to share a snippet we could add to functions.php to make this happen? If so we’ll definitely go ahead and purchase the plugin. Please let me know either way.
Thanks,

MemberSure Karly! Just let me know in this same thread and I’ll do my best to craft a snippet to help you out on this 🙂

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
