Errors While Trying to Update to Version 4.4.20.1 of Events Calendar Pro

I have tried multiple times to update my Events Calendar Pro plugin from Version 4.4.19 to 4.4.20.1 and keep getting the same error codes:

Update Plugin
Downloading update from Removed by Modern Tribe support team

Download failed. cURL error 61: Unrecognized content encoding type. libcurl understands deflate, gzip content encodings.

I am using WordPress Avada theme and cannot get it to update….any suggestions or help is much appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out and I’m really sorry about this issue, this ticket is at the moment in our Backlog as other users are experiencing similar issues as well.

In the meantime you should be able to do a manual update of the plugin, we have a detailed guide about this process that will make this more clear in how to approach this problem.

Hey,

Good news! We have fixed this issue in our plugin updates server. No software update is required for the fix to be applied, plugin updates should just work fine now 🙂
