Error with Google maps and venue website address.

Hi

I have an error with the events display in the Venue Box.

The Venu box does not display the google map and also it has an error on the venue URL it show hard code for the venue website e.g.. http://www.domainname.com</a

Ok. Problem with googlemaps – the theme already had a google-api, which i put in the footer. Now I changed the widget from “google” to “text” and put the embed code into the textfield. Now it works with the googlemap. Still a problem with the hardcode link.

I ended up reverting back to an older version of plugin to get it fixed…

I will hold off updating until I see this bug has been fixed

Thanks for getting in touch! Yes, we’re definitely aware of the Venue link issue and will be releasing a fix for it very soon. In the mean time, you can look at @barry’s reply here, which will serve as a temporary workaround.
