Error message when adding an event

Hi All,

We have the same issue rest of code has been updated now we are just facing categories pulling incorrectly.
Is there any solution for categories pulling through incorrectly. I am seeing a lot of categories those are not even added to event categories.

I’m sorry you are experiencing that issue. Let me help you with that.

I understand you are having the same issue as in this post > https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/error-message-when-adding-an-event/#dl_post-1328252

If so, the issue with that user was that he was making a template override of the edit-event.php template file, thus preventing our customization to work as expected. Please verify if this is the same issue as yours.

If it’s not, then please share with us a link to where we can see the issue for ourselves or share a screenshot of the issue. Are you making any additional template customizations? Let us know about it.

Thanks for clearing that out.

Are you making a template override of the edit-event.php template file? If so, please remove that template override and see if it works.

If it doesn’t, please share a link to where we can see the issue for ourselves.
