    Hi Lars,

Thanks for reaching out to us, and sorry to hear about this issue.

Can you please let me know when are you seeing this error? Seems like a minor issue but we can take a look into it and try to fix it.

Also, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

    Sure.

I changed the theme to twentysixteen and deactived all plugins (except the event calendar) and still got the same error message.

It happens when I go to Settings — > Display – – > and click “Save Settings”.

I will then be taken to a new page with the error code.

Here is the error message I just got:

Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home/salesage/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/common/functions.php on line 1446

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/salesage/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Validate.php on line 266

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/salesage/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/common/functions.php:1446) in /home/salesage/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1171

Note: If I deactive BBpress the first part of the error message (regarding bbpress) disappear. But I still get the rest of the error message regading the events calendar.

    Best wishes

    Thanks for the update Lars!

Only getting the error when saving Display Settings? Or are you getting it when saving any Events Settings Tab?

The line to which the error is pointing at is a function that stores multiple values, and the only option with multiple values in the Display Settings Screen are Event Views. Can you try to re-set those values? Maybe just set it to List and un-check all other options, then Save Changes. After this, set the views as need in your site and Save CHanges once more. Does this makes any change?

    Best,
    Nico

    Hi,

I’m only getting the error when saving Display settings.

It does not seem to be a big deal as the settings still save even with the error message.

However – it would be good to get it removed anyway. Maybe it will disappear by itself with the next update.

I tried to re-set the Event views (like shown attached) but still get the same message.

As I said – it is not a major issue but if you have any other suggestions let me know.

    Thanks!

    Best wishes

    Lars,

Thanks for the report and glad to hear this is not a showstopper for you. Anyway as you say it will be nice to get it fixed!

The thing here is I’m not able to reproduce the error still, Can you send over a screenshot of all the Events Display Settings page? Maybe with the exact same settings I can get the error, but I’m not sure about it.

Do you have a development, staging or local copy of the site were you can see this as well?

Thanks and sorry for the many steps to diagnose this, but it’s very difficult to work on a bug we cannot reproduce,
    Best,
    Nico

I sure can but it might be quicker and better to give you temporary access to the page so you can go and have a quick look for yourself.

    What do you think?

If you can drop me an e-mail I’ll send you login details.

    Best wishes
