Kris
ParticipantHi
I installed Events Calendar PRO on a fresh installed WP (4.6.1) . When I try to change de settings on “Events > Settings” and I save the changes, I get a error page “ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE”. All other options in the tabs “Settings”, “Default Content”, etc. don ‘t give this error and are saved well.
Thanks

MemberHey Kris,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I’ll help you with this one 🙂
First of all, are you using latest versions of the plugins (The Events Calendar 4.3.1.1 and Events Calendar PRO 4.3.1.1)? Also if you deactivate PRO and just use The Events Calendar, do you get the same behaviour?
Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

ParticipantHi Nico
I rolled back PHP 7.0 to 5.6 yeasterday evening and the problem is solved.
Apache 2.4 and MySQL 5.5.5 are not touched.I used TEC v. 4.3.1.1. I didn’t tried to turn of PRO yet, I can still give it a try if you like.
I also did a completely reinstall of WordPress when I still was on PHP 7.0, but that didn’t fixed the problem. Are there other known issues with PHP 7.0?
Greetings

MemberThanks for following up Kris! Great catch btw 😉
I’ve asked the QA team to review this. We have 2 bugs related to PHP 7, one for FilterBar and one for Advanced Post Manager, no bugs for PRO related to PHP 7.
I’ll get back to you when I have more info on this!

MemberHey Kris!
Sydney from the QA team could test this out but was unable to reproduce the issue with PHP 7 and pretty similar Apache and MySQL versions (2.2.29 – 5.5.42). So not sure if this is a legit bug or not.
Are you testing this in a local site or an online one? Does the hosting company have any special setup for WordPress or just a regular service?
Thanks,
