Good evening Randy and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the empty Calendar Widget and that it seems that you have been particularly unlucky with the plugin on your WordPress install.
Please rest assured that this is of course not the how it is supposed to go down.

I would love to help you with this topic and to address any other issue you might be experiencing in order to try to make it a better experience for you.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ? (following the instructions found in the link)
Could you also provide me with a URL so that I can run some tests on your website ?

Finally, just to help resolution, are these issues related to the website where you changed domain names ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Hey Randy,

Wow, this is not good at all. So let’s try a different approaches to solving your issue:

    • Could you go to the plugins page of your website and (in a private reply) provide me with the list of plugins you currently have installed (all of them) including the version number of each ?
    • I believe you might have a caching plugin activated. For the purpose of troubleshooting, you might want to clear the cache and deactivate it if possible
    • Could you please tell me if you see a /tribe-events/ folder in your WordPress theme’s directory ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Hey Randy,

Thank you for taking the time to share your plugins manually.

    1. While I am at it (I should have asked the first time around), could you also tell me:
    2. What version of WordPress you are using ?
    3. What is the name of your WordPress magazine theme and what it’s version number ?
    4. If there is a /tribe-events folder in your WordPress theme’s directory ?

With that in mind, the first thing I am noticing is that you are a couple of versions behind on the Events Calendar plugins (we are now at 4.1.2 on both).

The first thing I would advise is to manually update both plugins, which means:

    1. Downloading the latest versions of the free and the Pro plugins on your computer
    2. Temporarily deactivating both plugins
    3. Using a FTP software, overwrite the files located in your plugins folder (/wp-content/plugins/) with the ones you just downloaded.

If that still does not work, I would like you to run the following test: temporarily change your WordPress theme to a default one such as twenty-fifteen and tell me if the issue persists ?

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
