Hi –
I’m not able to embed multiple calendars on the same page. Is this a known problem? It simply shows up as blank, regardless of what type of calendar I try to embed after the first one.
You’ll notice a blank space after the turqouise
line on the bottom of the page.

[tribe_events view=”list” category=”main-gallery”]
[tribe_events view=”list” category=”coop-gallery”]
August 15, 2018 at 11:04 am #1598274CourtneyMemberHi Ezekial
At this time, we do not have a way to use multiple shortcodes for [tribe_events] on the same page. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
You can suggest it at http://tribe.uservoice.com.
However, our new service, Loxi.io could achieve this for you. You can use the Loxi embed to serve data from a TEC customer site if they are interested in doing some testing/experimentation with us. You can get started with a free trial today and if you’re up for testing, we can arrange for a complimentary subscription to get this achieved.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks
Courtney 🙂August 15, 2018 at 2:44 pm #1598476EzekialParticipantThanks Courtney. I’d like to try it out the testing subscription.
I’ve signed up for a free account on Loxio with username: [email protected]

Courtney 🙂August 21, 2018 at 9:11 pm #1602696Geoff B.MemberGood evening Ezekial,
My name is Geoff and I am the Community Manager for Loxi.
Our product director is in the process of setting up our Loxi / the Events Calendar bridge for you and we should have it in place for you to use most likely by the end of the day tomorrow.
I will make sure I personally follow-up with you and grant you access to a couple of complimentary months on Loxi to see how you like it.
Hang in there!
Geoff B.

August 23, 2018 at 9:55 pm #1604709Geoff B.MemberGood evening Ezekial,
As promised I am following up with you.
We are pretty excited to roll-out this new “secret” feature and we did just that today.
Alas, we found a bug in the process which forced us to rollback. Our team is currently debugging this for you. Hang tight and thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
August 27, 2018 at 3:22 pm #1607050EzekialParticipantAny luck?
August 28, 2018 at 9:37 pm #1608395Geoff B.MemberGood evening Ezekial,
Our ninjas are still hard at work on this one.
In the end, we will prevail (our team just can’t let a bug win 🙂 ).That said, I realize time is of the essence.
Therefore, I would like to offer a temporary workaround.Until the coding team gets to the bottom of this, what we could do is sync up your the Events Calendar installation with a Loxi Calendar WITHOUT the link back to the Events Calendar.
In other words:
- You would be able to embed a Loxi calendar anywhere you like
- That Loxi calendar would contain the exact same events as your the Events Calendar installation
- When somebody clicks on a single event, they would be presented with Loxi’s version of the single event view (as opposed to being brought back to the Events Calendar)
This is far from perfect because of the Loxi’s limitations, but it might buy you some time if that would be acceptable.
Loxi’s limitations for the single event view are:
- The display of the description of the event might be different than what you are used to. In some cases, it might even require a bit of tweaking (ideally, we should run a test to see how that goes for your specific calendar).
- Loxi does not have ticketing capabilities yet. The only thing it offers is the option for a link to a URL to purchase the ticket. You could use that to link back to your actual the Events Calendar single event view, but this process is not automatic. That means that you would have to edit every event to add the link back to the Events Calendar manually (not great I realize).
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now, it’s the best one I have, unfortunately.
Let me know if you would like to give this a shot as a temporary workaround?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thanks for getting back to me. So long as I can embed two separate loxi calendars on the same page, let’s give it a shot.
September 3, 2018 at 1:13 pm #1612465Geoff B.MemberGood afternoon Ezekial,
Just a quick note to let you know that we are almost there!
I am just waiting for a feature to be fixed (tomorrow) and we should be good to go for our test run.Until then, the calendar sync stopped at 10 events (which is a long way from being what you can normally expect from the sync).
One more day before we can see this through. Thank you for sticking with us!
Geoff B.
