    We want the website to send email notifications to paid members who have chosen events they are interested in. Is this possible out of the box? If not, we need someone familiar with Event Calendar Pro to customise it for this purpose. We are using Ultimate Membership Pro.

    Any assistance will be appreciated.

    We want the website to send email notifications to paid members who have chosen events they are interested in. Is this possible out of the box?

    That is a great question. The answer is that you would probably need some level of customization to achieve this. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

    But let’s break this down by requirement (if I understood your needs correctly):

    • Let members choose events they are interested in:
      • You can let people RSVP to events (you could rename it to “I’m interested” or anything else you want) by using our free Event Tickets plugin. The downside is that this typically requires people to input their email and name (which you would have to automatically populate with the member’s info)
    • Send email notifications:
      • At which point would you want to send these notifications ? (a few days before the event ? On a scheduled basis ?)
      • What would trigger the notifications ?
      • What would be the content of these emails ?

    The good news is that you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
