ParticipantOK Love the overall EC and ECP. The problem I have is twofold (maybe threefold)
1. I cannot Break out a single even from recurring to add date or change dates [CRITICAL]
2. I am showing over 125k events! Even though settings are for 36 months in advance and 6 months removed recurring clean-up. we have may 15 events a month!! Slows the entire calendar to a crawl. [SEMI-CRITICAL]
3. I no longer have a license tab. Multi-site Calendar and Pro activated on ONE site only. [Annoying, but manual updates are OK for now]
Please help. I have run through all the troubleshooting I can find AND read all messages before posting.

Thanks for reaching out to us!
These definitely sounds like some strange issues. For the breaking out of recurring events, were you able to do this on the current site in the past but unable to do so now? If you click on one of the recurring events from your dashboard, does it no longer give you the prompt that you’re removing this event from the recurring series.
In regards to the large number of events. You can try using this plugin to do a cleanup of recurring events:

For the license tab, I was unable to replicate this issue on a fresh install. The license tab displayed as expected under the Events Settings section. Have you tried the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure this isn’t a conflict? If you’re using a caching plugin, try disabling and purging the cache prior to deactivating all plugins and reverting to a default WordPress theme.

ParticipantI have reduced the number of each recurring event to 2 year (24 Months) the main settings page has no effect on existing recurring events. I have installed (as a plugin) the code you supplied and activated it for the single site that uses ECP. While the plugin is active I see no place where I can execute it!

ParticipantOK Found the remove duplicates button in MISC on the setup tab. It has been running for well over an hour and a half. How long should it take!
Now I have a single recurring event (set up a long time ago) that shows it’s recurring, but clicking on edit all leaves me on a page with no date to change.

ParticipantRun the Cleaner plugin. It has cleaned some (not many) of my events. I have in actuality 6 recurring events that recur 4 times a month for 2 years. That’s a total of 576 events. I have 118,000+ events on 5901 pages on the EVENTS page. Unacceptable. It slows the system to a crawl whenever the calendar is loaded.
What can I do?

Thanks for following up with us.
It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue with events being duplicated? As in you’ve only ever created 576 events but 100k + are showing up within your dashboard and on your site? If so, have you seen that number continue to rise since you noticed the large number of events?
This issue along with the other issues make is sound like there may be a significant conflict occurring with another plugin or the existing theme. Have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures in full?
One additional thought, if you’ve had to manually update before, try updating to the latest version of the Pro plugin again. This is to ensure no plugin files are missing due to a failed upload on a previous update.
