How do I turn this feature off? I’ve seen a few posts on hiding it using CSS, but surely there is a way to turn it off?

    Hi Kamram,

Sorry for the trouble here with the public attendee list option!

Juts to confirm, do you have the following option selected when creating tickets:

Edit Event ‹ Modern Tribe Tickets — WordPress

I have that option selected on my test site and that hides the option on the front end of the website (screenshot).

If you do have the option selected and the checkbox is still showing up on the front end of your site, then can you confirm whether it happens when switching to the default WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme? That’s the theme I’m using and it would be interesting to see if that’s the difference.

    Thanks!
    Geoff

    Hi Geoff,

I have ticked the box and the checkbox is still showing.

I am not a developer, so please bear with me. Can you please tell me how to test it on the default WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme?

Do I need to deactivate all the current plugins? If so, my website is live, so this will be almost impossible. Could you walk me through it step by step?

You bet! We actually have a guide available right here that walks though that process step-by-step:

Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins

The good news is that you not need to go that route at all. I was just checking your website this morning and see that the option does not appear to be displayed on the event page (screenshot).

If there are any events that have the option displayed and you’d prefer not to testing for conflicts by switching themes, then please send me the link to the event in question and I’d be happy to provide you with some CSS to hide the option. 🙂

    Thanks!
    Geoff
