Yes, filter bar will work with photo view. You can see both working together at https://wpshindig.com/events/photo/. Do note, Filter Bar does not work with shortcodes at this time.

I also notice on mobile photo view, that the filter overlaps the first event when open – is there a way to push the event down, rather than the filter overlapping it?
