Hi, here is my problem for the motorcycle training site and your software i am redoing for a customer.

    – there are 8 locations for the first phase of learning (http://www.learningcurves.ca/locations/)
    – these 8 locations can have 1 to 4 choices for location for example in Toronto:
M1Exit(M2) WeekEnd at The Beach (Daytime) 2014-Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am to 4:30pm
M1Exit(M2) Midnight Madness 2014(W) – Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 pm to Midnight
M1Exit(M2) WeekDays at The Beach 2014- Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
M1Exit(M2) WeekNights at The Beach 2014(W) – Monday to Friday from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm

    – those four above have a night and two full day training to take
    – there are ton, 3 day sessions (http://www.learningcurves.ca/locations/)
    – there is also 2 other optional training courses, one location (http://biketraining.ca/our-courses/)

I purchased your calendar pro, and woo tickets but can’t figure it out and i’m usually amazing at reprogramming.

So, how can i marry all these parts, easily and professionally, and that it carries over to the woocommerce cart?

    Woocommerce is no problem here.

How much for you to reconfigure something for my needs?

How long to take? if you can.

Check out the links above showing what i mean.

    thank you
    Kevin

Hi there, Kevin! Thanks for getting in touch and for using the plugins–we’re stoked you’re giving them a try. 🙂

The basic functionality of the WooTickets plugin is that it acts as a bridge between The Events Calendar and WooCommerce, by allowing you to create tickets directly in Events posts while managing them in WooCommerce as Products.

That means for each Event post you publish, you can create any numbers of tickets that will display on the event page. Once the visitor selects the number of tickets to purchase, WooCommerce takes over and handles the checkout and transaction process.

For your setup, it sounds like you would create an event post for each training, then setup tickets for them in the post. For example, you might consider creating an event for each recurrence of the “WeekEnd at the Beach (Daytime)” and create tickets in those posts.

Alternatively, you can use the recurring events feature in The Events Calendar PRO to publish all the instances of an event in one post. The tickets you create for the series will all share the same inventory. That means if you set up 500 tickets for the “WeekEnd at the Beach (Daytime)” series, each ticket purchased from any one of those event instances will draw from the pool of 500 tickets.

The Events Calendar PRO also includes Venues. That means you can create a reusable venue and associate your events to them. the nice thing about Venues is that they automatically get their own page and list the events associated with them. Here’s a nice overview of how that works.

If you are looking for help with custom development, we’d be happy to share a list of freelancers who might be able to help. Send us an email at support [at] theeventscalendar.com and we’ll send that over. You can reference this thread for context.

Does this help answer your question and clarify things a bit? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

Hey there, Kevin! Sorry our plugin wasn’t a good fit, but I’m glad you found something that is. Thanks for following up and letting us know.

I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but please feel free to let us know if anything else comes up.

    Cheers,
    Geoff
