Distance filter disappeared

Hi,

I can’t pinpoint exactly when it happened, but at some point over the past few days, the distance filter disappeared from my filter bar. All of the other filters that I have selected (in settings) are still visible. Any idea what might be going on?

That’s the strange part …I haven’t added any plugins (or updated any plugins either). My theme is the same and also has not been updated. I did remove the text search from the main search, leaving only the date and location search. Not sure if that would have done anything?

I’m also wondering if there is any way to add the distance search to the main search bar, instead of having it be a filter criteria. So when the user types in the city and state, there would be a selection next to that box asking how wide of a search radius they’d like to use. Does such a feature exist?

Initial issue is resolved (dumb mistake on my part). But, I’d still be interested in your thoughts/feedback on part 2 of my last reply.

I’m glad to hear you’ve got the issue resolved! Regarding your second request, while that is not a default feature at this time, I can see the value in having the distance feature included in the main Search bar. With that said, the best way to go about getting that included in an upcoming feature release would be to visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas and submit it if it hasn’t been already.

If it’s something you absolutely have to have, we’ve got a list of customizers that could get that going for you.

I’ll close this thread out for the time being, but please don’t hesitate to open a new thread if you come across anymore questions or concerns. I would also appreciate if you rated this support thread based on your experience 🙂
