Display Single Cost on List View and at top of Single Event

Our events have a cost but a deposit/balance/full payment option for each one. This means that the range displayed doesn’t make sense for our events. I’ve installed the “Event Tickets Plus Extension: Show Cost Fields” plug in and thought it would make sense to swap out the ranged price for the price set in there on the list view and single event view. However I’m not sure what the correct field name is to use.

Could you point me in the right direction?

As a first step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Normally, there should simply be a Cost field that appears as part of the Event section (not the ticket section). Whatever value is entered there should now appear as a cost everywhere but in the ticket detail section.

You can also accomplish this via a snippet.

You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/69f8a033fb614c78b3de45a197431135

But first to be extra safe, before making any changes to your functions.php file, you should make a backup of that file.

Ideal, just what I needed. Thanks Geoff. I had to tweak one of the variable names because the old one was depreciated in the current version but seems to have done the trick.
