Display single category events in Advanced Widget?

Hello,
My website is a statewide publication with distinct pages for region-specific featured content and stories.

Would I be able to display events by a single category (geo-region) in a widget that I would place in the sidebar of a regional page?

Looks like a fantastic plugin!

With the Advanced Widget functionality included in our PRO version, you could add a widget to display events related to one or more categories. I’ve attached a screenshot below that gives a visual example.

Barb,

Glad to hear you’re on the right track! Your events should display on the url you have entered in the Events URL slug field found under Events > Settings > General. For example, if you have ‘events’ entered in the field, your events would display at your-site.com/events.

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend reading our New User Primer as it gives a pretty good explanation on how the plugin works including screenshots.
