Display Settings not saving

Similar problem here too!

In the admin site the Display Settings are apparently saving into the DB but afterwards the settings page in not remembering them – In my case the “Basic Template Settings” default to Tribe Events Styles, Default Events Template and Month views

Entering content into the HTML above and below boxes does work but it will not populate the text editor windows after saving.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this known bug :-/

For now, the best solution we have would be to revert back to version 4.1.3 which can be downloaded here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/

You’ll also need to manually update as instructed here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/

I’ve attached this forum thread to the logged bug. Stay tuned to your wp-admin and theeventscalendar.com/blog for maintenance release info.
