    Hi,
The events on my DIVI site show the first events. When you get to the bottom of the list and click on next events you get a message saying there are no events to display. If you refresh the page the next events show. This happens on all browsers that I use. Alan cell 713.501.5245 http://www.yourlifepointe.com

    Hi Alan,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

As a first step, can you try updating all of your Events Calendar related plugins to their most recent versions and test if this issue still occurs?

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

A website developer is helping me. He said: Everything is currently updated. There was an update for the Events Calendar plugin that I was hoping would fix the issue, but it did not.

    Hi Alan,

As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    • A conflict with another plugin
    • A conflict with your WordPress theme
    • A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    • Make a backup of your database
    • Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

In addition, there are a number of mixed content error messages appearing in the console, so I would recommend installing and configuring a plugin, like this one, in order to resolve those errors.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

The website developer did as you suggested and said this:

Ok, I tried the things they suggested.
    • I fixed the SSL mixed content warnings
    • I disabled all the plugins except the calendar plugin – it made no difference.
    • I reverted to a base WordPress theme (Twenty Eleven) – I’m sure if this “fixed” it, but it did display differently. Instead of having to click “next events” to get to June, June was just displaying on page 1.
Do you want to pass this on to the support ticket and see if they have a solution?

Otherwise, I’ll start looking for a new events plugin to switch to.

I need a solution or tell me that for whatever reason, the DIVI theme will not work with your calendar. Thanks!

    Hi Alan,

Thanks for running through that testing.  It sounds like the conflict may be with your Divi theme, as everything worked as expected when you switched to a default theme.  Is that correct?

Are you using the most recent version of your theme?  If not, I’d recommend updating before moving ahead.

Once you have updated, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.

This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

Basically the goal here is just for me to confirm that this issue is present on the latest version of our plugin.  I cannot guarantee that I can provide a resolution to this issue.

Please also note that support for theme conflicts is limited as stated in our support policy.

You may also want to reach out to your theme developers in the meantime to see if they have any solutions for you on this issue as well.

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
