Disable event detail pages

How can I disable the use of the event detail pages. We are only using titles and dates and don’t want links to the event detail pages.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The short answer is that you need to do some simple template customization.
It is actually quite a simple process. In fact, we built our plugin in a way that makes this easy for our customers.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Thanks Geoff, that is what I did.

But a little checkbox on the settings page labelled “Disable links to single event pages” would be really handy. 🙂

Hey Chris,

I am stoked that this worked out for you.

You are right, that would be a cool setting to have.
As you might guess, it is sometimes a balancing act between clarity of the UI and the number of settings available.

For that reason, we have made sure our plugins are customizable for the most part. That way, everybody is happy.
