I would like to use a different page template for my /events listing page and individual event pages, but in the settings you can only specify one for all. I looked through the forums here and saw this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/different-page-templates-for-monthly-calendar-vs-others/. It sounds easy enough to code in. But could you tell me what file the template is specified in that I should change? I can’t seem to find it. Thanks.

There is a separate file for each of those views. Go into plugins/the-events-calendar/views/ and you will see the two files, list.php and single-event.php. Following those guide copy those into the appropriate folder in your theme and make your modifications!
