ParticipantHi,
I just bought and installed the WooCommerce Deposits plugin (https://www.codebuffalo.com/) to take deposits for tickets using Event Ticket Plus, because we need to take deposit for our event bookings. But the option to make a deposit for a ticket doesn’t show up. I asked the plugin developer and he said:
“I just checked and it appears that the hook that outputs the deposit user interface is not called.Could you check with Modern Tribe on why “woocommerce_before_add_to_cart_button” is not called on the ticket page?”
Is this something that you can help with please, as deposits are an essential functionality for our use of Event Tickets Plus, which other than this I am very happy with indeed!
Many thanks,
Nick

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugin. I can try to help out here, but we are limited in supporting plugin compatibility issues.
We build our own form on the event ticket page as we need to check for a start and end sales date among other things.
That is a template that can be moved and edited in your theme so it might be possible to add the hook there to get this to work.
Our themer’s guide shows where to move and edit the template:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

ParticipantThanks for your helpful response. I’ve followed the instructions from your themers guide and created a copy of the ‘tickets.php’ file as you suggested.
I’ve pasted in this code <?php do_action(‘woocommerce_before_add_to_cart_button’); ?> on the recommendation from the WooCommerce Deposits plugin developer, but he said that he thinks it will need something more than this to connect to the WooCommerce back-end so that the deposit actually shows up on the page.
Is this something that anyone on this forum can easily and quickly help with please?
Many thanks,
Nick

MemberWe are limited in supporting plugin compatibility issues per out terms and conditions and can only support features we ship with.
We try to help answer some questions about customizations or compatibility issues to get someone started, but beyond that we are not able to provide much else.
If this is a deal breaker we can offer you a refund per our policy:
But unfortunately, not much else on this issue.
Thanks
