Deactivate zoom on scroll on the event's google map

Hello guys,
First, congrats for your work, i’m very satisfied w your modules series.

I just finished the design of the event’s page thanks to your Themer’s Guide

My last issue is about the Google Map displayed on the event’s page, i want the map to be active but without the zoom on scroll, i tried your method described here https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/map-zoom-inout-false-and-keep-markers-clickable/ but it still doesn’t work on my website

I understand that it’s my theme (Jupiter) which disturb the process but even the alternative fix at the end of the post linked w that script https://gist.github.com/niconerd/301cd35ada82e5ae77a5a311df573f10 doesn’t work for me. Maybe i made a mistake with this last method but i really think it could be the solution to my problem

Could you help me on this please ? i would really appreciate

Thanks for getting in touch with us and for the kind words 🙂

The script share in the thread you mentioned will just work for map view, not for single events. Can you test if it works for map view in your site? If that’s the case it’s just a matter of changing the conditional which I can do for you.

Indeed, the zoom on scroll is disable on the map view > https://myoffticket.com/events/map/

So, i would “only” need a small change in this script to make it work for the event’s page, great

Thanks for following up! And sorry for the delay in my reply, looks like the ticket status was not correctly set and it was out of my radar (corrected this).

I’m sorry to say I wasn’t quite understanding the issue here. Maps in single events and single venue pages, are embedded maps as opposed to the map in Map View which is generated via JS. The method we have been discussing only works for JS maps and not for embedded ones 🙁
