ParticipantHello
how can I completely deactivate the selection field (see screenshot) in the overview setting?August 1, 2018 at 10:07 am #1587824Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Florian,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Can you provide me with a link to that page, so that I can take a look?
In other words, are you looking to dis-allow users to make a date selection, so that it is essentially a calendar to look at?
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantYeah, that’s right. The theatre offers only a few events and we do not need such a choice. In addition, the display of the date selection is hindered by the CSS of the theme.
And could you kindly tell me where I can create a custom look for the various single and group representations? Do you offer the possibility to work with presets here?
Here you find the single represantion of the calender. after today update the look changed again…: https://www.theaterausfluege.de/tickets/

ParticipantHi Jaime
We could also work with the pre-installed design of events pro if there were the possibility to make some changes to the functions and appearance. So in the single view we would need a drop-down to select one of 4 different ticket types, for example, family ticket, group ticket, single ticket and so on. Near the choice of the ticket type this ticket should appear and one should be able to determine there the number of tickets, whereby also here depending upon ticket type already pre-set minimum quantities would have to be indicated. So you have to buy at least 3 tickets or more if you choose the family ticket.
as far as appearance is concerned, you can see in the screenshot that the ticket is displayed in tabular form. However, the columns do not adapt correctly to the contents at the moment. The selection range for the number of tickets is too small and should be wider.
Is there a way to customize this functionality and design without overwriting the php files?
Kind regards

KeymasterAfter reviewing your request this essentially looks like a custom development task and so is outside of our stated scope of support.
With that being said, we’d love to help point you in the right direction.
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to attempt the results that you are looking for.
If you’d prefer not to tackle this customization on your own, we may be able to assist you further. We do need to prioritize support requests from other customers at this time but I’ll certainly flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so. Please let us know if you’d like to go this route so that you can be added to this queue.
In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share (including mocks) that will help us to better understand what you are seeking please do feel free to add them to this ticket.
If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi Jaime
Ok, let’s forget about new functions. unfortunately this would exceed our budget for now. but I found the following link (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/styling-events-widgets/#advanced-list-widget) in your support area, which allows you to modify the css of the widget of events calendar, which works very well. is there such a compilation of css codes also for the representations of the single view? And perhaps also for the overall view under events tickets pro?
Regards

KeymasterHi Florian,
Glad to hear that you found the article that you linked to. That article does contain a list of all available widgets here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/styling-events-widgets/
Also, to load custom styles for the Events Calendar widget, create a stylesheet called widget-calendar.css in the tribe-events/pro/ directory of your theme.
To load custom styles for Events Calendar PRO views and elements, create a stylesheet called tribe-events-pro.css in the tribe-events/pro/ directory of your theme.
You can use our Themer’s Guide as a reference for more details on how to go about doing this.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime
