ParticipantI am see that same error with the mini calendar widget after implementing this fix. Please provide us with a fix for the mini calendar widget. That one appears more often on the site, so is equally problematic.

MemberHi guys, thanks for the update. I’m sorry to hear the snippet isn’t working. Just to clarify, does the snipper work without the mini calendar widget present?
Thank you for your continued patience.
Best,

ParticipantWith the snippet in place on my sandbox site (2012, no other active plugins), when I display the full size calendar and the widget on the same page, the full size calendar has the correct day but the widget has the wrong day. This behavior is unchanged from before.
I haven’t tested this on my client’s live site, where the full size calendar was also wrong before, because I already rolled them back to 3.0.3/3.0.5 and I’m not willing to go through the update and rollback process a third or fourth time (depending on the outcome).

ParticipantYour snippet seems to have solved the problem with the main event calendar, but as trevellyan states, it does nothing to solve the problem with the mini-calendar widget.
The mini-calendar widget is actually more problematic, given how frequently it is viewed across the site on the sidebar. Sometimes it is correct, but most times it is not.

MemberThanks for the explanation, that really helps. Do you guys have live sites that I could take a look at?

ParticipantI don’t, because I’m not willing to break my client’s just-launched site again.
I guess I must be missing something here, because it seems like it would be simple matter for you to reproduce this problem.
1. Installing a fresh copy of WordPress.
2. Install your calendar plugins.
3. Activate the 2012 theme.
4. Tell the calendar page to use the default page template instead of the standard events template.October 11, 2013 at 11:53 am #70589Robert Trevellyan
Participant5. Add the mini calendar widget to the sidebar.

ParticipantThe mini-calendar is broken on your own demo site as well. Should be really easy to troubleshoot from your own site:

ParticipantOh, yes, I forgot that you’d pointed this out six days ago in the other thread…

MemberThank you guys.
Trevellyan- unfortunately we haven’t been able to reproduce it, except on our demo site as you noted.
I’ll update here as soon as I have more information.

ParticipantOK, try this: http://store.trevellyan.biz/calendar/

ParticipantThis took me two minutes to replicate on a fresh site. I did the following
1) create a new WP install
2) install events calendar 3.1 and events calendar pro 3.1
3) add your snippet to fix the the rendering
4) add mini-calendar widget to page
5) entered a sample event (not sure if this even matters)Here is the resulting page. Note the erroneous days in the mini-calendar in the footer.

ParticipantIf you don’t see the day issue on first page load, simply navigate once or twice to other pages and it will appear.

MemberThanks for your patience folks. Our developer has updated the gist to include a second filter for the mini calendar widget. You can get the updated gist here. Hopefully that will solve the issue for you until we finish the permanent fix. Of course if you have any trouble, please let me know.
