ParticipantHello! I am having a hard time updating the custom theme. When i go to ‘customize’ in the toolbar, the below screenshot comes up- it looks nothing like the customize page that appears in your tutorial. Please advise what I can do to edit this. Also- is there a way I can use shortcode if i want to embed the monthly view calendar onto my homepage? How would I go about using that?

KeymasterHey there!
I hope you are doing great and thanks for reaching out. Based on the description of your problem there might be a couple of items that you might want to take a look at.
- Make sure your display settings on: Events > Settings > Display are set to Tribe Events Style so you have a fully design styles on your site or change it to something that fits more your needs.
- Test your site for any conflict to make sure this is not a problem generated by any other plugin or the current Theme.
- Most of the views on the plugins can be edited either the HTML structure, JS or CSS can be changed to match your needs, you can take a look at the Themer’s Guide to see the details.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about this issue or if there’s anything else I can do for you.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Crisoforo- thank you for the quick response back! My settings are set to Tribe Events and everything else looks like it is in place. Is there a way you can do a share-screen with me? It’s still not working and I would really like to figure out how to get this going so I can add my events.
I also have Modern Events plug-in installed. Keeping that up until I get this squared away. Could that be a problem?

KeymasterHey!
Thanks for the updates, did you tried by using our conflicts guide to see if there is no plugin or theme conflict, as this will help us to identify quickly if there is some sort of problem with the plugin so by using the default WordPress theme and almost no plugins we can identify if this is being caused by a third party theme or plugin.
Let me know how that goes or if you have more questions about the Themer’s guide.
Best

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
