ParticipantHey Tribe Support
i have the events calendar pro trying to prove if i can build something for my needs. After that i will buy the community bundle. And i am using enfold theme which is really great.
They perform well together but there are some pages/view of the events calendar who does not show up in the page builder or as a page. Because the overview page of the calender is only an url I can not customize the page like the other pages at my website. For example, I want another sidebar to show at the page and I want the page title showing above the content and more.
Is it possible to get content on this page using enfold theme and their awesome page builder?
I am trying to build a landing page/welcome page with some information and the events overview including the search and the filter bar. I want my visitors to be able to directly use the search an view events instead of forcing them to click on a button or menu item to get to the overview.
Any hint will help
Thanks

KeymasterHallo Matthias,
Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!
What you try to accomplish is not yet achievable out-of-the-box. It would require some major customization work.
You could overwrite the page template, here are some guides for that:

https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/template-overview/If you are looking for a developer, here is a list of freelancers who could possibly help you out:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/What I also heard is that enhanced shortcodes are in the making, which possibly should allow you to display the full calendar in any page. However, I don’t yet know the release date of it.
Let me know if any of this helps.
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Andras
thanks for your anwser. I have feared that it will be more complicated.
But having the complete Calendar as a shortcode would be really awesome. These enhanced shortcodes sound great. Any chance to get information about release date?
Thanks

KeymasterHello again,
Unfortunately I don’t have a fixed release date I could share for the enhanced shortcodes. I know that a lot of people would be super happy to have them, so that also motivates us to have them soon. I don’t have anything more than that at this point.
Is there anything else I can help you with on this topic?
