ParticipantHi. Jonah was kind enough to help me on this post:
I wanted to set up a page template to have a single event category displayed, and also have the date filtering code work from the other post. The result would be a single category, with only future events from the next 2 weeks displayed.
Is it possible to help me so that it will display ‘future’ & ‘current’ events – with a link to the event page only if it is a ‘future’ event (ie = not begun yet). If the event is ‘finished’ (end date has passed) It should be hidden from the page.
I can see how the code below works, but I dont know how to change the operators to make it do what i want.
Also do you know if the code in the previous post will still work if i update the woo-tickets plugin, woo-commerce and the events calender plugin. Right now I’m on WT 1.0.1 / WC 2.0.10 / TEC 2.0.11
Many thanks if you can help

MemberHey there Steve! Thanks for the note here, and apologies that we took until now to get you a reply. Curious: is there a reason you haven’t upgraded to 3.0 yet? We can try to point you in the right direction here but it might change with the 3.0 upgrade, so that’s going to dictate the specifics of our reply. Let me know.

ParticipantHi Rob.. i had a problem with upgrading to 3.0 – as in this thread. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/moved-liscense-updated-wootickets-now-not-working/
The upgrade is working now.
I am still struggling with the code in this post though.
Will anything have changed in 3.0?many thanks

MemberHey, JustJuicy. Thanks for the follow-up and for confirming as much. Jonah has unfortunately left the team, and so I can’t get him to take a look here – but I should be able to have Barry check it out and try to point you in the right direction. The 3.0 codebase has changed enough that it’d make sense to verify this before attempting anything. Stay tuned and I’ll get him to throw you a reply sometime tomorrow.

MemberHi justjuicy,
Can you summarize what you’ve done so far and what’s holding you up? If I understand correctly from the other thread you referenced you are doing all of this from within a custom template … is the current problem with the code to load all current and future events or is it with hiding/not linking to expired events?
Thanks!
