ParticipantHello,
Attaching a screen shot from my events page, as you can see the addresses for venues are not inserting a space between field values.
Also, I’ve noticed that in firefox and safari when entering events and clicking on the date field the calendar popup is no longer triggering. Also in firefox/safari clicking on the quick add ‘+ add new event category’ and ‘add feature event’ don’t do anything.
Also experience extreme lag while trying to edit in safari.
Any ideas?

ParticipantSorry to hear about these issues, @millspublishing!
In regards to the address spacing issues, I would recommend adding the following CSS to the bottom of your theme’s style.css file and seeing if it improves the display of things:
.tribe-address span.tribe-locality {
margin-right: 0;
}.tribe-address span {
margin-right: 0.4em;
}
Next, when you describe issues with “entering events”, can you clarify if you mean entering events in the wp-admin of your site? Or on the Community Events submission page? Or both?
Thank you!

ParticipantAlso, there’s one thing I forgot to ask here—can you share your “System Information” with us on this thread? It may be helpful to figure out the browser-related display problems.
Here’s how to share “System Information” → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
You can post that in a “Private Reply” if you’d prefer to keep that information visible to only yourself and our support team 🙂
Thanks!

ParticipantThank you for this information, @millspublishing, and for clarifying where your date field issues exist. I’ve tried recreating problems with the date field on my own testing site, and I do not have issues regardless of the browser I try—Firefox, Safari, or Chrome.
Unfortunately, this means that the next best step I could recommend would be to test for plugin/theme conflicts. I say “unfortunately” because that process requires deactivating plugins and such—it’s a much faster process to do than it might seem, but still not something folks are exactly “excited” about doing….
You can see the troubleshooting process for that here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
Are these steps that you’re interested in doing? If so, and you do them, check on the date field issue in Safari after EACH step in the process, and let us know what you find.
Thank you,

ParticipantLooks like I’ve narrowed it down to the Yoast SEO plugin being the conflict, which is rather unfortunate as I like the plug, no luck on a work around as of yet. It use to work with this plugin as I’ve used it for a long time now, so something had to have changed.

ParticipantI’m sorry to hear this! Yoast SEO is a popular plugin, and it indeed has changed recently. We discussed it as a team in our team support meeting yesterday, and we are working on a number of compatibility fixes for it over the coming weeks and months.
I do not have an ETA on when a fix for these issues will arrive, though, unfortunately—and it could be a month or more before there is any progress here 🙁 I’m sorry to bear this news!
Please let me know if you have any further thoughts on this or if there’s anything else I can try to help with.
Sincerely,
