Cron Auto Import from CSV

Hi,

We have developed a little app which generates and saves CSVs fully compatible with The Events Calendar Pro in our server. We want to automatize the import process using de local CSVs generated in the same hosting WordPress is running.
In few words: we want to import local CSVs from the server instead of uploading them from our computer and somehow automatize the local import of the CSVs.

We’ve found this topic: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/best-way-to-import-events-other-than-csv-importer/ but it’s not enough. Our developers need more info about the importing process.

In fact, what we need is to know where to start to modify the importer’s files and the possible incompatibilities with future updates of the plugin we will find if we modify this part of the plugin.
We’re not familiar to this plugin (yet) and we are near the deadline of the project, so we need your support 😉

Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins. I can try to help out.

But I am limited by our terms and conditions on supporting customizations.

The importer files start with this file:

the-events-calendar\lib\io\csv\ecp-events-importer.php

That is also the base directory for everything related to the importer.

Beyond that we do not have information on how to customize that to run from a cron and autoimport.

So if the terms don’t allow you, which is the way to get any info or any customization done? We thought once we paid for the support we’ll have some 😉 May be the Events Calendar Pro license isn’t what we need?

We’ll accept any suggestions due to the lack of information.

Unfortunately, we do not provide any customization services for our plugin. And customizations are not support per our terms of service and most of the WordPress plugin industry.
