Hello! We want to build an events calendar where visitors (not logged in) of our site can fill out a form about an event that they host or know about and submit it. This should then result in an event created, with its status set to “Pending Review”, for the administrator to approve or modify. Is such a thing possible? Maybe with the help of Gravity Forms?
Yes, it is definitely possible to let visitors of your website submit events via a frontend form, even if there are not logged in 😉
In order to do that, you would need our plugin Community Events. The process would be the same as the one you described, with events being held as a draft for moderation before an administrator would publish them.
Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
