GuestBarry, will we have to go in and manually approve the completion of tickets If we are only set up to take Credit Card Purchases for Payment?
see below excerpt from your primer page…It’s worth noting that there may be an extra step here, depending on the payment method you’d selected. Navigate to WooCommerce –> Orders on the backend. Depending on the payment method you’d selected, the order you just placed will show as either Completed, Processing or On Hold.
When the order is either Processing or On Hold, the user will receive an email confirming their order and informing them that they will receive their tickets in a future email. When the order is Completed, the user will receive an email confirming that the payment processed and their tickets will be attached.
In most cases the merchant will need to manually verify that the payment came through so, in general, orders will not automatically progress to a completed status. This is not unique to WooCommerce Tickets however – it’s actually an intentional feature of the WooCommerce platform itself.
The good news is, this is a real easy step. When the payment is received, just check the box on the orders list next to the order you want to modify, select the Bulk Actions dropdown up top and change to “Mark order as completed.” Upon doing so the order will be finalized, and the secondary email will be sent.

MemberHi!
Yes, possibly you will – but if so it is possible to automate the process as described here.
I can’t give you a definitive yes or no because really this hinges on the particular payment implementation you decide to use (there are numerous ways in which you might accept credit card payments). What I can say is the process is anyway capable of automation – as above – and that the folks best placed to guide you here are either the team behind WooCommerce or possibly the authors of the payment gateway plugin you choose to use (if it’s sourced from someone other than WooThemes, that is).
Ticket products are regular products – there’s no real difference in how sales are processed between them and any other WooCommerce products.
Does that clarify things at all?
