ParticipantThis is in reference to an earlier post that was closed but unresolved.
It took me months of fiddling and working with various support groups but I think I finally figured out the issue by a mere fluke. It appears that when you add a woo commerce short code to an event, it causes the calendar to use the last added event’s title for all events in the calendar view. The short code I was specifically using was [product sku=”skunumber”]. Can someone please take a look at this now? For the site I’m working on, it would be nice when a visitor clicks on an event in the calendar, if they could see the product (in this case a scheduled class) and immediately add it to their cart.
Much appreciated!

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I have seen this issue come up before as well.
So you are saying if you add a WooCommerce Shortcode to a Single Event’s Content that in the Month View all the events start using the Last Event Added?
Let me know and I can try to replicate the issue. So far I have been unable to do that following those steps.
Thanks

ParticipantYes, if I create an event and add a woo commerce short code to it, switch to calendar view, the title of the last event added will display for every event that has previously been entered. I’ve been able to recreate it on two different woocommerce/Event Calendar installations.

ParticipantActually I’ve testing this with a single event and with recurring events with the same result.

MemberI was able to reproduce with a Recurring Event and a Single Events as well.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
I will put a bug report into our system to fix this issue.
I do not have a timetable on when this issue might get resolved. I will ask our developers and see if they might come up with a snippet to fix, if possible.

MemberHi I just wanted to update this for you. I have created a bug ticket to have our developers take a look at this and come up with a solution. I do not have a timetable one when that might be. I am not sure if this we will have a temporary fix to give you or may require changing more of our coding to make that impossible to do. So since there is nothing more we can do from this ticket I am going to close it.
This ticket is attached to our bug report and we will update you on this ticket once we have anything for you.
If you have any questions related to this or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.
Thanks
