ParticipantHey guys,
I’m using Event Tickets Plus and Event Calendar Pro.
After the last batch of updates, the load time of calendar on our site increased dramatically.I took a copy of the site and put on the localhost to test for conflicts, as suggested in your documentation (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/).
With the Twenty Sixteen theme and no other plugins enabled (besides the Events Calendar/Tickets), the calendar loads really fast and is quick to navigate.
The next plugin I enabled after this was WooCommerce as it core to our payment processing. This put the load time up to almost 20 seconds. I also tested with Twenty Fourteen theme just in case, but it made no difference.
I’m not really sure what to do now? I can see where the conflict is coming from but have no idea how to resolve the issue as we need WooCommerce.
Has anyone had this problem recently?
Look forward to hearing from you!

MemberHi, Siobhan.
Thanks so much for your thorough testing.
Unfortunately (and fortunately), this isn’t something we’ve heard of from others.
Please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

MemberThanks for all of that information.
I tried with the latest versions of TEC, ET, ET+, and WooCommerce on PHP 7.0.3 and couldn’t replicate this behavior.

If your site slows down specifically when PRO is active, please consider trying the fix for runaway recurring events (a bug introduced in version 4.2.2 and fixed within a few days via version 4.2.2.1).
You can download our Recurring Event Cleanup Tool extension plugin to fix it.
Please let me know how it goes for you.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
I updated my version of MAMP to the latest (4.0.6) and this seems to have resolved the issue.
Thanks for your help!

MemberInteresting. I’m glad to hear that.
Would you mind re-sending your System Information Report now that it’s working, just out of curiosity?
