Steve
GuestThe Events Calendar is listed as a plugin compatible with the Avada Theme. When I install it I can not create a new event, nor can I create any new posts.
When I try to create a new post, I get the following error message:
Fatal error: in /home/pointill/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Asset/Factory.php on line 3
When I try to create a new event I get a gigantic stream of code spewed to the browser.
When I change the Theme to ‘2016’ everything seems to work fine.
I’m using Events Calendar 4.4.5 and Avada 5.1.4
Any ideas?

GuestThis seems to be a conflict with Yoast.

Is the issue resolved now?
Thanks,

GuestNo, not resolved. there are conflicts between the following plug-ins:
Avada theme
The Events Calendar
Yoast
WP Job ManagerI can get any 3 working together but not all 4. For now I’m deactivating The Events Calendar, as all the rest work together without it. Any ideas?

MemberHi Steve
I’m sorry to hear that. I hope we can get this worked out.
Avada really strives to incorporate The Events Calendar. It may be worth reaching out to them to see if they have any known conflicts. I would venture to guess many people use Yoast and The Events Calendar with their theme, but far less are using WP Job Manager.
Can you see what happens if all 3 plugins are active but using a default WordPress theme, per our Testing for Conflicts guide?
Thanks,

GuestWhen I turn on:
The Events Calendar
Yoast
WP Job ManagerAll work with TwentySixteen, but not with Avada. So, it seems to be a theme conflict. I’ll let Avada know.
