    Hi.

I need a solution for more complex tickets.
Example: venue has 120 seats. Venue will be split into 3 sections, Red, Blue, Green.
I need to be able to limit each section to 40 tickets
Each ticket also needs to choose a letter A, B or C (again limited to 40 each)

As you can see each ticket can have a number of possible combinations (price always stays same)

I have set up variations in the products page and can force tickets for this type of event to be bought through shop not events page but then I can’t collect registration data. If I sell tickets through the events page I can do the variations.

Is there any way to combine tickets fields with woo product variations. Even if you can point me in the right direction that would be great.

Good evening Jason and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us. You have clearly given this some thought.

I would love to help you with this topic.

Unfortunately, as you have found out, the issue is that the attendee info fields are proprietary to Event Tickets Plus, not WooCommerce.

The only way to combine them at the time of writing would be to do some customization.

You can read about that here: https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/

If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

With that in mind, I would encourage you to vote for that feature here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/6388546-support-woo-product-variations-within-wootickets

As an alternative, you can also try using your approach with another third-party plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/wc-fields-factory/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
