After upgrading to version 4.2 of Community Events (and PRO), the styles (or page structure) has changed, breaking my layout.

I had a number of fields that were set to display “none” as I was instructed to do. It’s worked flawlessly until I upgraded to 4.2. For some reason, after the upgrade, the css is no longer hiding those fields.

Also, the template used is the same being used to display the calendar on the front end. Either the structure or css being used on the router (submit event) page has changed. The change is breaking my layout, but only for the “submit event” router page, not the regular (and pro) calendar display on the front end.

    Can someone help with this?

    Thanks!

Good evening Daniel and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the layout being broken after the update.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

The first thing you should do, before trying anything else, is a backup of your Database.

Secondly, would you mind going to Events -> Settings -> Display and trying different settings for Events template to see if that helps.

    You could also:

    1. Try rolling back to the previous versions of our plugins
    2. Hand me a copy of the complete list of CSS rules that are no longer working so that I can investigate

Hang tight has we investigate the cause of this issue.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
