GuestOne of our clients, Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce would like to add the ability let community submit events for approval. Is this possible with our current product/version? If not, what would we need to do to add this functionality for our client. Looks like we need to purchase the Community Events module for $89. Anything else?
Below is their install details. Thanks!

MemberHi David!
Yes, Community Events will allow you to add the functionality for visitors submitting events to your calendar and to moderate those submissions.
I do want to note that you will need to update both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO in order to make it happen. I see both are running version 3.10 at the moment and the latest versions are 4.2.7 and 4.2.6, respectively. The jump between 3.10 and 4.0 is pretty significant and introduces breaking changes, so I would definitely advise testing everything in a safe development environment in advance to make sure everything is in working order.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

Thanks so much!
