Community Events Not Working

    My site is currently live, and the Community Events Submit page does not seem to be working. When you click on ‘Submit Event’ you either get an all blank white screen, or a Fatal Error Message:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 130968 bytes) in /home4/talkofto/public_html/vipclubmaster.com/city/wp-includes/class-wp-query.php on line 3248

    This was working fine up until about a month ago. I have already increased my memory size to the max 256mb (I am with Host Gator and there max for there business package is 256) so I am not sure why it is needing more resources than that, especially since my site does not yet have that much traffic. It was working fine the last year up until now. Please help, as the site is live.

    Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
    What is the standard Recommended settings?
    My site was a multi-site, which i thought was causing the problem.
    I have built a new wordpress site, and the same issue is happening?

    I have also tried installing a Caching plug in, but i still get this issue.
