    Hello.
How do I customize the text after an event is submitted through the community add-on via anonymous event submission?

I tried following these instructions to no avail (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/customize-submit-event-form-fields-thank-you-email-notice/).

A URL redirection would also suffice, but that’s not working either.

I hacked a fix by modifying submission-handler.php directly but I’d like to do this the “right” way 🙂

    Hello kabard,

That’s really close! Although I obviously wouldn’t hack core. 🙂

This code may help you out. You could also just set [‘messages’] directly as you have.

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

    Hello kabard,

I am going to close this topic as we typically close threads if there is no activity after two weeks. Feel free to create a new thread and reference this one to save you time.

    Thanks
