Community Events and Event Fees

hi,

i’m looking for an event calendar where my webusers can set up their own events including all necessary details as well as a ticket price / fee. The thing is, the user who is hosting the event should receive the money without any further administration work on my end. So is there an solution for my problem? maybe by combining your event calendar plugin with the community events plugin as well as some type of ticket / or paypal plugin or something similar? I know there is some kind of Adaptive Payments Plugin for paypal and woocommerce but will the user, setting the event up be able to enter his paypal email adress in order to receive all the money? or will I have to administrate everything? maybe it is not possible at all?

Howdy @b101 and thanks for reaching out!

That is indeed one of our most popular feature requests: the ability to allow event submissions with ticket sales.

You’ll notice that the request is marked “started” which means we are in the thick of working on it. At the moment, our Community Events add-on allows site visitors to submit events, but does not allow them to create tickets at the same time.

We’ve actually made quite a bit of progress on the feature and are taking beta testers as we speak. If you’re interested, we’d love to have you aboard for testing! Just fill out this form and we’ll be in touch. 🙂
