ParticipantThe Community Events display page doesn’t is not working properly. The spacing is enormous and I’m not able to populate any of the fields, because there isn’t any area in which to fill out.
Take a look here:

ParticipantHey @Areadmin,
I’m sorry to see this!
Can you try activating a default theme like Twenty Fourteen? If so โย how does the page function in this theme?
Also, if you have any caching plugins, please deactivate theme and see if that also makes a difference.
Let me know what you find! We can continue investigating the cause from there.
Cheers ๐

ParticipantHey @areadmin,
I also noticed that your WordPress version is 3.9.1
That is far out of date; the current version is 4.4
You will need to update WordPress to at least version 4.3.1 before any more support steps can be taken.
This might help โย let me know if it does! If you update to at least 4.3.1, or to 4.4, and issues persist, then do the theme and plugin steps I wrote in my above reply ๐Thank you!

ParticipantI updated to 4.4. The community add page loads, but notice the fields – they aren’t outlined. You can input, but you have to click around the general area until you find where the field might be. Is this how it’s supposed to be laid out?
Also, I can’t switch themes. I know that’s the default solution, but my site is a business site and heavily trafficked. And I got rid of all caching plugins ages ago, as clearly is causes a host of issues with other plugins.
So what else can it be?

ParticipantHey @areadmin,
Thanks for updating!
I Cannot recreate this exact layout and its associated behavior, and so unfortunately a code conflict of some kind is still seemingly the problem here.
With that in mind, I totally understand the difficulties of theme testing in your situation.
So I would recommend first doing the plugin-related testing in that “Testing for Conflicts” article I linked to earlier (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/). Basically deactivate each other plugin one at a time and see if issues persist.
If you do those steps to the point where The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar: Community Events are the only active plugins on the site, and issues still persist, then go ahead and reactivate all those other plugins…
…and then, I would recommend trying to find an “off” time of your site, like when the traffic is very low, and do the theme testing then. Or put up a “Site maintenance” notice or something so that any visitors will know that it’s just a temporary issue if they see the site in a weird theme…and so on.
I appreciate your patience with this and am sorry that there’s not much more than can be done here! Unfortunately, like I said I cannot recreate this issue no matter what I try and there are no other reports of this exact behavior at this time, so a theme or plugin conflict is still the number one candidate ๐
Thank you!
Sincerely,
