Changing recurring event "duration" to end time datepicker

I have a client who would like her users to be able to just choose a start and end time for each event recurrence, instead of having to choose a start time and duration of the event. I notice on the Knowledgebase article from November of 2015 this was the default setup, but I can’t figure out how to replicate that.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.

We changed our system for 4.0 and will only have the duration method now.

It would not be possible to change that without hacking into the plugin meaning all changes would be losts on updates.

This actually causes a pretty big issue for my client, because the plugin was purchased based on the screenshots shown in the Knowledgebase article showing start and end times. One of our requirements is for users of different skill levels to be able to create recurring events easily, and the duration setting is proving to be confusing for some people.

Is there any way to revert back to an older version, or can you point me in the direction of what needs to be hacked to make this work? I’ve already customized several portions of the plugin.

I have updated the screenshot so that does not happen to anyone else.

I can provide you with an older version of Pro and a link for Core, but you would not ever be able to update those plugins and we would not be able to support them.
