    Hi there,

I have two niggling but very serious usability issues:

    1) Ticket ordering:

When will the ability to change the order the tickets appear on an event page be added (drag and drop would be nice, but even numbered ordering is far better than what you have now)? I thought the recently added “Move” feature would do this but was disappointed to find out it was something else entirely.

Right now if I want to change the order, I have to delete all the tickets, then input them from bottom to top, which is very counter intuitive and labor intensive. Is there a workaround in lieu of manually re-entering all the tickets?

    2) Disable displaying a price range for multi-tier pricing for events

Right now, for events with tickets of different prices, a price range is displayed. In the context of events registration, this looks like sliding scale pricing and is very misleading to our customers.

Rather than displaying a price range when multiple prices are present, can we make it so that only the lowest price is displayed in the event information?

    Thanks,

    Hello Judy,

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums! I can answer your questions here.

    Ticket ordering:

I’m sorry to hear your disappointment regarding the ticket ordering. We don’t have that feature planned in the near future. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

For this I believe this snippet will give you the solution. Paste it into your child theme’s functions.php file:

Let me know if this helps and if you have any other questions.

    Cheers,

    Hi Andras,

I just found out that the code works only for the first event in the case of a recurring event. Any chance you could cook up some code to make the price range revert to the lowest price for recurring events as well?

    Thanks!

    Hi Judy,

We looked into this and I’m afraid I don’t have good news.

To make it work the way you would like it to would require lots of customization work, which we are very limited in supporting. It would take a good deal of time and testing. Also there is no way to modify this with a snippet. So you would have to dig into plugin code directly and change a bunch of stuff, which then would be overwritten on each update.

I can share with you a list of developers who might be able to help you out with this or come up with a workaround. They are well-known in our community:

I’m sorry I cannot provide a solution for this.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

    Cheers,
    Andras
