Change Title on Photo view archive

Hi,
I’ve followed the instructions here https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/altering-or-removing-titles-on-calendar-views/ and also looked for help on the knowledge base, with no luck.
If I delete the title following your instructions, it is ok.
If I change the title through your functions.php snippet then I get a blank page and my site cracks.

I would like to change the title and also would like to know if it is possible to add a subtitle.

Hi there,

Thanks for emailing support. A blank or broken page is most likely due to a syntax error.

Try entering in this code at the very bottom of your functions file and let me know how it goes.

Hello, thanks for help but I’m still getting a blank page.
I copy your code at functions.php through FTP in my child theme and even without changing anything I get a blank page.
I’m totally lost here…
