    Hi
I help manage a website for our local arts association – I’m not a web developer but I do code and understand IT systems well enough. When we moved from a plain html site to a WordPress a couple of years ago we moved hosting to a local company that offered us a good deal – they suggested the Eden theme with Woocommerce, your Event Calendar and ticketing add-on.
Bought under their account, license key:

The host subsequently decided to stop hosting sites they weren’t managing themselves so we have moved to TSOhost and I am managing the site on my own. We managed to migrate the site and upgrade most things but we have a problem with the ticketing – all the events pages come up with a php error where the ticketing should be:

    Samba Junk Workshop (for adults)

The plug-in and add-on are there so I’m not sure why this is happening, I have bought a new license for the charity under their own account and downloaded the zip file but I’m unsure how to proceed – I don’t want to mess up our existing calendar and events. Any help would be gratefully received.
    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having.

It looks like you need to update to the latest version of WooCommerce Tickets to resolve this.

Since you already have the zip file for the plugin follow this guide to updating it:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/

Let me know how that works out.

    Thanks

    Hi
I’ve updated the plugins but the ticket sale shopping cart buttons still aren’t appearing properly.
Also on the Events Calendar page the current month appears okay but when I try to go back or forward it doesn’t load.
    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks of updating.

The event you linked to is in the past and tickets will not show on past events.

Do you have a future event with tickets?

    As for the Month View.

I am getting this error on the console:

    NetworkError: A network error occurred.

That means the script is trying to load events from another url.

I noticed you did a site migration, did you change the url of the site too?

Let me know and we can go from here.

    Thanks

    Hi
There are some future events but we haven’t added tickets because of the problem – it was occurring for current events. I just noticed the membership cart isn’t showing properly either so it may be a Woocommerce problem, I’ll contact them again.
No we haven’t changed the url.
    Thanks

    Hi,

    Ok thanks for the info.

I noticed on the site when I go to the http version of the calendar it does not work.

When I go to the https version it does go to the next month correctly, but then does not work after that.

It appears the site is jumping between https and http.

That could be causing some of these issues.

Are you able to keep the site all on https?

    Hi Brian
    How would I do that?

I’m just looking at the permalink settings in WordPress and they all have http but I can’t seem to edit them.

Sok I just found it in the general settings.

Ok I visited your site again and I am able to go between months back and forth.

    Are you seeing that?

Also, can you add a test ticket to event to see if we can get that to show?

    Thanks

    Hi
Thanks, I don’t know why the calendar is working now, might have been to do with the http/https thing.

I’ve created a test event on the 13th Oct but the buttons still aren’t visible.

    Hi,

I visited your site and I am seeing the ticket there.

The button is showing, but the text is hidden due to some css in your theme.

I got this css to fix the background color:

    .tribe-events-tickets .woocommerce.add-to-cart button {
    background-color: #00c6ff;
    }

Add that css to your theme’s stylesheet or through a plugin such as Simple Custom CSS.

Let me know if that helps.

    Thanks
