ParticipantI have a business license for three websites. All three are listed under my account, but on one of the sites (www.themdpcalendar.com, which is the newest) tells me “The Events Calendar Shortcode PRO license needs to be activated. Activate Now or Get a License”. When I click on Activate Now and attempt to activate things, the license number is there, however it fails and says “Invalid license.” I know it’s not since it’s active and paid for. I even removed it from another site and readded it and it was fine. Please help! Thanks.

MemberHi David
It really helps us to better diagnose what might be happening when we have your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/. Are you able to send that along?
You should’ve received an email containing a link to download Events Calendar Pro and the license key. Did you upload Events Calendar Pro plugin?
Can you go to My Account ยป Downloads and download the Events Calendar Pro plugin.ย You’ll need to keep the free The Events Calendar plugin active as well.
Then get your license key, and go to Events ยป Settings ยป Licenses to enter it.
It looks like you tried to do this, but in the Event Aggregator field instead.
Let me know if this works now.
Thanks

MemberHi David
I now see what the issue is. https://eventcalendarnewsletter.com/contact/ is the right contact place. The plugin you purchased is not made by us, therefore we aren’t able to assist with your refund.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

ParticipantThis isn’t your plugin? I didn’t ask for a refund. I asked for help.

MemberHi David
We’ve had several users come to us lately with https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-shortcode/ (and its pro version) believing that is our plugin. That is not the case. It is not created by us, but by a 3rd party. https://eventcalendarnewsletter.com/
I believe the issue you are seeing is from them. Can you confirm?
Thanks

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
