Hello, after this last upgrade, our mobile calendar is no longer working. We have the Events Calendar PRO.
    1) No events are displayed under the month view when the day is selected
    2) Unable to select a day other than today.

This is causing mobile users to not be able to see events going on at our venue. Unfortunately it is a St Patrick’s celebration weekend in Dallas & people cannot see what is going on at our live music venue unless they use a desktop computer.

For now, we have switched to the list view of our calendar as the “Default View” until this is resolved… really not ideal since we are selling tickets for a show 1 month from now & we have a lot of events to scroll through!

Thank you so much for your help~

I’m really sorry to hear about this, @Jessica, especially given the awful timing with the holiday and such.

We do have a bug in our recent releases where the mini-calendar’s day names don’t compress like normal; we’re working on a fix for this. However, we don’t have any known bugs that are exactly as you describe here.

I know you don’t want to have the broken widget on your site, especially not the homepage—but is there any “test page” you could add the broken widget to, or something? If so, I will take a look at the broken widget firsthand and see if I can spot any issues.

    Thank you!

I am seeing the same issue.

Viewing the month view on a mobile device you can’t select any day other than today and the “thumbnail view” of events for the day under the month is no longer visible.

I should add that just to be safe I double-checked it on a completely clean system with nothing but Twenty Fifteen, WooCommerce, and the Events Calendar installed and I got the same results.

    Hey @danfeeley,

Thank you for reporting this. I do not find that same behavior on my own testing site, so I’m curious as to the origin of the problem on your site. To help keep this thread focused on @Jessica’s issues, can you open a new thread if you haven’t done so already? Share your system information there and include a link to a page on your site where the mobile calendar view will be visible.

    Thank you!

I have exactly the same issue as @danfeeley – it’s not just the squished day names, it’s the total lack of functionality – no date can be pressed, no event info is forthcoming 🙁

You don’t have to view it on a mobile – just reduce the browser width, and try clicking on dates…

Fingers crossed for a timely fix!

Thanks AJ—we’re hoping for a timely fix, too, and our developers are working hard. Stay tuned!

    Hey AJ,

I actually notice some behavior on your site that I am NOT able to recreate on my own site—i.e., issues other than the specific set of bugs we’ve identified and are working on.

To help keep things organized, would you mind opening a new thread on these forums with your site’s System Information (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/) and a brief summation of the issues? You don’t need to write a lot, at all—and you can in fact just share a link back to this thread for some context on the issues.

We’ll tend to your thread as soon as possible and take a closer look at your specific issues.

    Thank you!

Hi George! It happens when you access our website from a mobile device or mobile view of the calendar from a desktop and select the “Month” view of the calendar. I have switched to the list view as default for now until this is fixed, since over 80% of people visiting our website use a mobile device. I am honestly not sure what you mean by adding a “widget” to a test site. I do not want to move our production code to our test environment, since I may need to use it to overwrite our production site. 🙁

    TO REPRODUCE:
    1) Go to http://therustic.com/musicevents on Mobile device
—> OR on desktop, Minimize the screen to where the navigation menu changes to a drop down.
    2) Select View As “Month”
—> Date defaults to the current date
—> ISSUE: Today’s events are not listed under the calendar
    3) Try to select a date other than today’s date
—> ISSUE: Cannot select a date other than today

NOTE: This only occurs in the mobile view.

I’m really sorry to see this @Jessica, and while I was able to see the same problems you described, I was not able to identify a specific JavaScript error or something like that on the page.

I unfortunately only have one recommendation I could make in regards to these issues: testing for conflicts.

What that entails is doing each of the steps outlined here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

Then after EACH STEP there, do the exact “Steps to reproduce” you wrote in your last reply.

What do you find when you do this? Does the behavior change anywhere along the way?

    Thank you!
    George
