    Hi there.

    This is similar to the issue I link to below but with a twist…

    reCAPTCHA error

    When I enable reCAPTCHA on my community event form a fatal error is triggered. I tracked down the conflict to the plugin WP-reCAPTCHA which GravityForms is dependant upon. Disabling WP-reCAPTCHA prevents the error but the page does not display the community event form – everything (header, footer, sidebar etc) loads as normal except the form does not appear.

    Are these two issues connected? Any bells ringing?

    Hi,

    Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help out.

    With the conflict on the ReCaptchaResponse class that can only be modified by changing the class name right now.

    This is the file that controls the ReCaptcha Class:

    the-events-calendar-community-events\vendor\recaptcha-php\recaptchalib.php

    I have created a ticket for us to change the name, but not sure when it would be released.

    As for the templates not showing, do you have any custom event templates or custom coding for events in your theme? If so they will need to be removed and updated for the changes done in 3.10.

    We wanted to check in here and update you on our progress. Although we weren’t able to address your issue in our upcoming release (3.11) we do still have it on our radar. Thank you for your patience while we continue working on a fix for the problem you reported. We will do our best to keep you posted when we have a solution in place.     Thank you so much for reporting this. We are happy to tell you that a solution to this issue is part of our upcoming 3.12 release! We are doing the final testing and then the new version will be released. Keep an eye on your dashboard Updates page!
