ParticipantHi I have just purchased the Events Calendar Pro version, but I am not able to set the license key, because there is just no tab in the settings available for that.
I am using VALENTI Theme and BuddyPress, having an intern and extern part o the website, using a bunch o plugins.
So before I deactivate them all, I just wanted to know if it is possibly an know issue.April 21, 2015 at 9:49 pm #957242George
ParticipantHey Péter,
First of all, I cannot apologize enough for the insane delay in response time here! There are a handful of support threads that for one reason or another seem to have totally fallen through the cracks of our support workflows – I messed up hugely here, and even though I’ve gone through looking for old issues to ensure threads don’t get ignored like this one did, it somehow missed my radar and has been sitting here unaddressed for far, far too long.

Now, in regards to your issue, have you made any progress with things? Or does the license tab still not show up for you? If so, then unfortunately the best step is to indeed run through our full set of troubleshooting steps here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
Let us know what you find, and Péter, I’m so sorry about the delay!

ParticipantHi George,
thank you for your kind response. Since I needed a quick solution I have decided to turn off the multisite functionality of my wordpress installation. (it turned out my client doesn’t need that functionality at all) This way I was able to insert the license key.
Nevertheless I still had problems saving the widget, when using category filters. (this functionality was the reason to purchase the pro version) For this problem I have also found a solution. I don’t use the widget of Events calendar Pro, but I use shortcodes from the “Event Rocket” plugin, where you can set category filters as well. This way I get the same widgets with functioning category filters.
Kind regards

ParticipantHey Péter,
I’m sorry you found further issues with the Widgets and category filtering in them – if issues persist, please open up a new ticket here on the forums and we’ll do our best to help address those issues and get a solution in place.
Since you’ve marked this ticket “Resolved” for now, however, I’ll close up this specific ticket. Best of luck with your project in the meantime!
