They display ok online, but select edit and there are very few fields showing per the attached file. Started seeing this a couple of days ago. Seemed like I could get to the edit view going in thru the Event list and selecting edit. Now that is not working. I am on the latest version of WP, but my Avada is only 5.2.2 in case that could be an issue. Having some issue with that update that I plan to resolve tomorrow. Most up to date version of of event calendar pro and community, etc. are in place.

Oh yeah – and I get an error 500 when trying to display the ‘settings’ screen.

Thanks so much for reaching out!

As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Thanks for your reply. Problem was our a3 Lazy Load plugin. We have deactivated and things are fine – except that we need to use that plugin to enhance site loading.

Do you have any settings parameters related to this plugin that would help?

I’m glad that you were able to find the root of the issue, and that everything seems to be working as expected with a3 Lazy Load plugin disabled.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any recommendations related to that plugin, however you are welcome to reach out to the developers of that plugin for assistance, or try another Lazy Load plugin. Here is a list of some others to try.

I hope this helps!  Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
